It took me 3 trips to finish the BARMM region.

Part 1: Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-tawi as part  of ZambaSulTa Tour

My first encounter with the BARMM region is during our ZambaSulTa Tour. This is a joiner's tour.

The first day is exploring Zamboanga. But this will have its own page/post.

Day 2 of ZambaSulTa Tour: Tawi-tawi Day 1

We flew from Zamboanga to Tawi-tawi and had a land tour of Tawi-tawi. These are the places we visited:

• Bongao Signage

• Bud Bongao

• Pink Mosque (Nural Uman Mosque) inside MSU Tawi-tawi

• Tawi-tawi Provincial Capitol

• I ♥️Tawi-tawi signage at the airport runway

Day 3 of ZambaSulTa Tour: Tawi-tawi Day 2

Day 3 is island hopping day. We visited the following:

• Sheikh Karimul Makhdum Mosque (oldest mosque) in Simunul Island

• Panampangan Island (sandbar)

• Sangay Siapo Island

• Tanago Island

Day 4 of ZambaSulTa Tour:  Basilan Day 1

We flew back to Zamboanga and rode a boat to Basilan.  We explored Lamitan and these are the places we visited:

• Bulingan Falls

• Tulip Garden

• Lamitan Signage

Day 5 of ZambaSulTa Tour:  Basilan Day 2

For our second day here in Basilan, we explored Isabela and these are the places we visited:

• Malamawi Island

• HAPIsabela

• Weaving Center

• Basilan Provincial Capitol

• Sta. Isabel Cathedral

After exploring Isabela, we went back to Zamboanga and road a night RORO to Sulu.

Day 6 of ZambaSulTa Tour:  Sulu Daytour

This is only a daytour so we explored Sulu for the whole day and rode another night RORO back to Zamboanga. We visited the following tourist spots in Sulu:

• Sulu Tourism Office in Sulu Provincial Capitol

• Maimbung Mosque aka Golden Mosque of Maimbung

• Bud Datu

• Mangsali Beach

• Tanduh Beach

• Weaving Center

• Tambuang Falls

Day 7 of ZambaSulTa Tour: Sta.Cruz Island, Zamboanga

This is our last day and we only visited Sta. Cruz Island.

Unfortunately, my external hard drive got broken 😞😞😞  (before I even started this site) and I don't have much photos left especially from our ZamBaSulTa tour. All my photos got corrupted. I requested photos from our fellow travellers but as expected, they only have group photos and not solo pictures. Luckily, I have few photos uploaded  on Facebook. Looks like I need to re-do the ZambaSulTa tour.. hahaha

Part 2: Maguindanao del Norte and Maguindanao del Sur as part of SOX travel

I visited Maguindanao del Norte and Maguindanao del Sur during our SOX travel.

My SOX pictures are also affected by the bad sector on my external hard drive. The whole folder suddenly became empty. 😭😭😭

Part 3: Lanao del Sur as part of Bukidnon-Lanao Tour

Lanao Provinces Daytour ft. Marawi City of Lanao del Sur

I visited Marawi for my Lanao del Sur exploration. This is actually a daytour for Lanao Provinces. We visited Marawi first then head to Iligan for some falls. These are the tourist spots we visited in Marawi City:

• Jameo Mosque

• Bato Mosque

• Marawi Peace Park
